Job Overview
Veloq is the software platform powering the next generation of grocery fulfilment. Born from Rohlik Group’s proprietary technology and operational excellence across five European markets, we are now a standalone technology company empowering grocers to transform their warehouse operations and scale their same day e-grocery offering. Our modular platform spans automated picking, e-commerce fulfilment, and last-mile logistics and is built to power online grocery profitably.
Today, Rohlik Group serves 850,000+ customers across Europe using this technology. We have proven it works at scale. Now we are bringing it to the world. We are only at the beginning of the journey — this is a chance to join a lean team, build something that does not yet exist, and scale a category-defining company from the ground up. You will have real ownership over your function, direct access to the CEO, and equity in a company at the beginning of a major growth curve.
Role Overview
You are one of Veloq’s first commercial hires — and the technical engine behind every deal. You will own the full pre-sales cycle: outbound into technical and operational buyers, demo execution, solution scoping, and POC design. This is not a support role. You carry your own pipeline, run deals end-to-end, and collaborate with the CEO to close enterprise accounts. You bring the warehouse operations credibility that makes prospects trust the technology. High performers grow into a lead role as the commercial team scales.
What We Expect From You
1. Technical Pre-Sales & Demo Execution
• Own and run the full demo process — from discovery call to tailored product walkthrough
• Scope and present solution architectures that map Veloq’s platform to each prospect’s warehouse operations
• Write and respond to RFIs and RFPs with the technical depth enterprise buyers expect
2. Solution Design & Proof of Concept
• Design POC scopes that are specific, time-boxed, and tied to measurable customer outcomes
• Lead the technical qualification: does Veloq solve this customer’s core problem, and how
• Coordinate with product on feasibility and integration requirements
3. Commercial Collaboration & Deal Progression
• Translate technical complexity into commercial value — ROI, payback period, operational impact
• Build and maintain CRM records, opportunity notes, and deal progression tracking
4. Market & Product Intelligence
• Feed customer objections, integration requirements, and feature gaps into product and leadership
• Monitor competitive WMS and warehouse automation solutions and maintain technical battle cards
• Contribute to the commercial collateral library: one-pagers, ROI calculators, integration guides
What We Look For
Must Have
• 5–7 years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales in enterprise SaaS, WMS, or warehouse automation
• Hands-on familiarity with at least one WMS platform — Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Korber, or equivalent
• Can run a compelling, tailored product demo without a script and handle technical objections live
• Comfortable owning pipeline independently — not just supporting closers
• Strong communicator across buyer types: operational (COO, VP Ops) and technical (CTO, IT, integrators)
• Fluent English
Nice to Have
• Prior customer facing experience in WMS or supply chain technology
• Ability to read API documentation, write basic SQL, or configure third-party integrations
• Experience with warehouse robotics, automated picking systems, or e-commerce fulfilment tech
• Second European language — German, Dutch, or French
• Prior experience at a startup or scale-up under 100 people
