The Information Systems Department (ISD) provides solutions, tools, services, data insights, and AI capabilities that help Contentsquare employees work effectively. Following a recent reorganization that transferred Human Resource Information System management from the People team to ISD, we are hiring a People Systems Lead.
In this role, you will own system configuration, business process design, tier 2-3 support, reporting, and integration projects for our core HR applications, with Workday HCM at the center. You will work closely with People Business Process Owners, IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other stakeholders across the globe.
What you will do
Lead Workday HCM administration, configuration, and optimization, serving as the primary subject matter expert for HR modules and security architecture.
Design and continuously improve business processes to streamline HR operations. This includes building advanced workflows with dynamic approval routing, event-triggered notifications, exception handling, and conditional logic for complex international requirements.
Manage integrations with payroll providers, benefits platforms, talent acquisition tools, learning systems, and third-party applications using EIB, connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs to maintain clean data flows and system integrity.
Work with People teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, while helping them adopt sound product management practices.
Analyze new Workday releases, assess feature impacts, and run non-regression testing in sandbox environments.
Configure and maintain security, including role-based access controls, domain security policies, user-based security assignments, and security group inheritance across complex organizational structures.
Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Workday HCM issues.
Write and maintain documentation covering integrations, system architecture, and guides that support knowledge transfer and long-term system sustainability.
Develop a thorough understanding of the People software architecture and data flows around Workday HCM.
Apply ISD product and project methodology: get business buy-in, manage change, and work in Sprint mode using JIRA for changes and JSM for tier 2-3 support.
What you need to succeed
5+ years of HRIS experience, with a strong track record configuring and administering Workday HCM.
Advanced knowledge of Workday's business process framework, data model, and security architecture.
Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools: EIB template creation, core connector configuration, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Workday Studio.
Autonomous and proactive by nature, with solid problem-solving skills and the confidence to push back when needed.
Strong communication skills and comfort working across multi-functional, international teams.
Fluent English. French is a plus.
Nice to have
Workday reporting experience: custom, advanced, matrix, composite reports, and conditional logic.
Experience working in an international company.
Familiarity with JIRA and JSM.
