We are seeking an ambitious Consultant Histopathologist to join a well-established Cellular Pathology department within a leading NHS organisation.
This opportunity offers the chance to work within a collaborative consultant team supported by digital pathology, advanced practitioner reporting, dedicated biomedical scientist support and a strong multidisciplinary working environment.
The department operates an oligo-specialist reporting model and welcomes applications from both experienced consultants and doctors approaching CCT/CESR.

The Role
The successful candidate will join a consultant-led service providing high-quality diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology support across a broad range of specialties.
Applications are welcomed from consultants with interests in:
• Gastrointestinal Pathology
• Dermatopathology
• Breast Pathology
• Gynaecological Pathology
• Urological Pathology
• Head & Neck Pathology
• Cytopathology
• General Diagnostic Histopathology
Responsibilities include:
• Diagnostic reporting
• Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Clinical governance activities
• Teaching and supervision of trainees
• Service development and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements
• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
• FRCPath (Histopathology) or equivalent
• CCT, CESR, or within six months of completion
• Broad diagnostic histopathology experience
• Strong communication and MDT skills
