Job Overview

Human Resources Intern (Part-Time) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with recruiting, onboarding, employee administration, and HR operations. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions and is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources. Work Schedule : 20 hours per week Location : on-site in Milpitas, CA Core Duties: Recruitment & Interview Coordination • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers • Communicate with candidates and management throughout the recruitment process • Assist with candidate tracking and recruitment administration • Support pre-employment activities, including background checks and employment documentation Onboarding & New Hire Support • Prepare onboarding materials and required employment documents • Conduct and coordinate new hire orientation sessions • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees HR Administration • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding • Assist with HR documentation, filing, and record retention • Respond to routine employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team Qualifications • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field • Strong organizational skills and attention to details • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications • Previous administrative or internship experience is a plus • Familiarity with the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now, SAP) and recruitment processes is preferred
