The Role We are hiring a Head of Sales to build Clark’s sales motion from the ground up.
This person will own new business revenue, expansion revenue, sales process, forecasting, hiring, enablement, and the repeatable motion for selling AI-powered audit transformation to accounting firms.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable closing customers yourself, building pipeline with the team, refining discovery, partnering with Audit Engineers on demos, and turning early sales learning into a repeatable machine.

Sales will play a critical role in educating the market, earning trust with firm leadership, closing the right customers, and building the foundation for long-term revenue growth.
The Head of Sales will turn Clark’s early customer demand into a scalable revenue engine.
What You'll Do • Own Clark’s sales strategy across new business and expansion
• Close new customers directly while building the first repeatable sales motion
• Run consultative sales cycles with audit partners, managing partners, innovation leaders, and firm executives
• Partner with SDRs and the Head of Opportunities on pipeline generation and qualification
• Partner with Audit Engineers on workflow-specific demos and customer conversations
• Build clear business cases around productivity, quality, audit transformation, and safe AI adoption
• Own forecasting, pipeline management, CRM hygiene, and sales reporting
• Develop sales playbooks, qualification criteria, discovery processes, and objection handling
• Hire, manage, and develop the sales team as the function scales
• Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Implementation to ensure Clark closes customers who can successfully adopt and expand
Who You Are • 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
• Experience leading sales or building an early sales motion
• Strong new business closing experience
• Excellent discovery and consultative selling skills
• Strong commercial judgment and forecasting discipline
• Able to translate complex workflows into clear customer value
• Comfortable operating in a startup sales environment without a fully built sales machine
• Willing to both set strategy and execute directly
Bonus • Experience selling into accounting, audit, compliance, fintech, legaltech, healthcare, or professional services
• Experience with vertical SaaS or workflow automation
• Experience selling AI-native products
• Experience selling to partners, executives, or firm leadership
• Experience building early sales teams, playbooks, and operating cadence
