The Role We are hiring a Head of Marketing to build Clark's demand engine, category narrative, and market presence. This person will own the marketing foundation across positioning, content, demand generation, events, customer storytelling, and sales enablement.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable setting strategy, writing, launching campaigns, supporting sales, and building the marketing function from the ground up.
Why This Role Matters Clark is creating a new category in a market that is highly trust-sensitive and relationship-driven.
Customers need to understand not only what Clark does, but why AI-powered audit workflows are safe and valuable. Marketing will play a critical role in educating the market, building credibility, creating demand, and supporting sales.
What You'll Do • Own Clark's positioning, messaging, and category narrative
• Create content that educates accounting firms on AI-powered audit transformation
• Partner with Sales on campaigns, outbound messaging, and enablement materials
• Build customer stories, case studies, and proof points
• Own events, conferences, webinars, and field marketing motions
• Develop campaigns targeting audit partners, managing partners, innovation leaders, and firm executives
• Manage website, content, email, and marketing operations
• Track pipeline contribution and campaign effectiveness
• Build the marketing team as the function scales
Who You Are • 5+ years of marketing experience
• Experience building demand generation and content programs
• Strong writing and positioning ability
• Comfortable marketing to executive and professional services buyers
• Able to turn complex technical products into clear market narratives
• High ownership and willingness to execute directly
• Comfortable building a marketing function from scratch
Bonus • Experience in vertical SaaS, fintech, accounting, compliance, legaltech, or AI
• Experience marketing to professional services firms
• Experience with founder-led or early-stage marketing
• Experience building category narratives
• Experience with events and field marketing
