Job Overview
Factory Operations Executive Team: Info Request Team, Operations
What you’ll own
• Track every order through the full production cycle — casting, filing, setting, polishing, rhodium, QC and share a live status update with the office team daily
• Real-time visibility on every piece. When the office asks, the answer is immediate and accurate
• Ensure every order meets its SLA. Track deadlines across all active pieces and flag anything at risk before it's too late
• Push Nivoda's orders to the front of the queue using floor relationships, get priority without creating conflict
• Coordinate with supervisors and department heads to unblock production quickly
• Coordinate with the QC team and have pieces staged and ready so inspections happen without delay
• Log QC outcomes and surface recurring issues to the operations team
• Coordinate stone delivery, confirm receipt, match to orders, flag discrepancies
• Liaise between factory and office on mid-production queries: specification changes, material substitutions, timeline updates
• Coordinate dispatch, packaging, documentation and logistics sign-off on every piece
• Build relationships with karigars, supervisors and factory management — Nivoda should be the client they want to prioritise
• Know how to get things done — when to escalate, when to negotiate, when to push and when to give
• Be the person the factory calls when something affects a Nivoda order
• Surface recurring inefficiencies and process gaps to the operations team
What we’re looking for
• 3–4 years in jewellery manufacturing or factory operations — SEEPZ or similar export manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Track record of coordinating between a client and a factory — managing timelines, pushing back on delays, resolving quality disputes
• Able to navigate factory floor dynamics, prioritise without friction, push when needed
• Clear communicator both ways, concise with the office team, credible on the floor
• Organised under volume, multiple orders, multiple stages, nothing slips
• Proactive, not reactive. Flags issues before they escalate, doesn't wait to be asked
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets for daily tracking and reporting
• On-site: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Not a hybrid or flexible-hours role
