About the Role
Sarvam is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting, engage decision-makers, and generate qualified pipeline. In this role you will run cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach to identify and nurture new business opportunities, and partner closely with Account Executives to turn interest into qualified meetings. A working grasp of the Sarvam stack will let you translate complex AI concepts into clear value for enterprise teams, and strong messaging instincts will help you reach the right decision-makers with outreach that lands.
What You’ll Do
• Prospect and qualify. Build a steady pipeline of high-potential opportunities through cold calls, email, and social outreach.
• Engage decision-makers. Reach out to enterprise prospects, understand their pain points, and position Sarvam's solutions as effective, scalable answers.
• Run discovery. Conduct initial discovery calls to assess needs, qualify fit, and guide prospects into the evaluation process.
• Partner with Account Executives. Align on target accounts, prioritise outreach, and hand off qualified opportunities cleanly to accelerate pipeline growth.
• Keep the CRM clean. Maintain accurate records of every interaction, track activity and trends, and surface insights for continuous improvement.
• Work with Marketing. Partner on outreach strategy, share what is landing with prospects, and help refine messaging and campaigns for higher engagement.
• Hit your targets. Own and consistently meet activity and qualified-meeting targets that feed the pipeline.
What We're Looking For
• 3-5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a SaaS-based BDR/SDR role, demonstrating strong sales acumen.
• Proven track record of successfully cold-calling and converting enterprise decision-makers into high-value business opportunities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects, build rapport, and foster long-term client relationships.
• Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and outreach tooling
