Band 7 Sonographer – West Midlands • Position: Sonographer • Banding: 7 • Location: West Midlands • Rate: £50.00 per hour • Days: Monday to Friday • Start: ASAP • End Date: 02/10/2024 • Hours: 08.00 am – 17.00 pm Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at the West Midlands. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. The duration of this contract will be ongoing with a competitive pay rate of £50.00 per hour. Must be available Monday to Friday. Responsibilities: • Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment. • Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities. • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results. • Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality. • Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process. Requirements: • Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent. • Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound. • Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software. • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • HCPC registration • 1 Year UK experience as a sonographer with NHS and private sector.
