The Role We are hiring Account Executives focused on new business acquisition.
This role completes Clark's first new-business closing pod alongside existing sales leadership. You will own new customer acquisition, run consultative sales cycles with accounting firms, and help build the repeatable motion for selling AI-powered audit transformation.
This role will help convert market interest into high-quality customers while preserving strong implementation fit. The goal is not just to close deals, but to close the right customers who can successfully adopt and expand with Clark.
What You'll Do • Own new business sales cycles from discovery through close
• Run consultative discovery with audit partners, managing partners, and firm leaders
• Partner with SDRs on pipeline generation and qualification
• Partner with Audit Engineers on workflow-specific demos and customer conversations
• Build clear business cases around productivity, quality, and AI adoption
• Manage proposals, negotiation, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
• Help develop sales playbooks, messaging, and repeatable discovery processes
Who You Are • 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
• Strong new business closing experience
• Excellent discovery and consultative selling skills
• Comfortable selling to conservative or trust-sensitive buyers
• Strong written and verbal communication
• High ownership and urgency
• Able to operate in a startup sales environment without a fully built sales machine
Bonus • Experience selling to accounting firms, financial services, compliance, legal, healthcare, or other professional services buyers
• Experience with vertical SaaS or workflow automation
• Experience selling AI-native products
• Experience building early sales playbooks
